Hey guys...

it’s been a while since my last post but I’m still here rooting for you all.

I Just wanted to share a lil good news which will hopefully encourage you to keep going although it’s difficult to see light at the end of the tunnel sometimes.

Last week Wednesday we had our 20week scan (@21+5wks)

Baby is healthy and was very active, that’s all I’ve been praying for.

Pregnancy is going well other than being diagnosed with Gestational diabetes (absolute nightmare) and the scan last wk showed I now have a low lying placenta.

They will be keeping a close eye on both with lots of scans booked for the upcoming months. If it’s not one thing it’s another.

I do try not to complain as I know how lucky I am to be here and have waited so long for this.

We decided not to find out the gender on the day but the sonographer wrote a note and handed it to my best friend who was organising a meal and gender reveal for us and family this weekend. (yesterday)

I am pleased to announce we are expecting a baby boy who will complete our family.

We was very happy with the news but I was also very shocked as I thought it was probably a baby girl... just because we don’t have many boys in our family.

Either way I am ecstatic!!!! Only 18 more weeks until we finally meet him!!!

Thankyou for taking the time to read this post... I do truly hope I haven’t upset or offended anyone from the bottom of my heart and please understand I have also been there.

Wishing you all the luck and baby dust in the world wherever you are on this rollercoaster journey ✨❤️✨

Awe that’s so nice... Thankyou... 😊😙

I have been here lurking in the background keeping up with the other ladies.

oh don’t get me started lol 😂

I’m fine really, as I said the diabetes thing is getting to me these days. Dieting, finger prick 4 times a day and now the metformin medication which made me soooo Ill 🤒

Yes they scare me to death... I always seem to get told worst case scenarios.

How are you? How long do you have left?

My bump is still pretty small so fingers crossed the same happens for me

Xxx

It will all be worth it tho, just think what you’ve been through to get here xx

I’m ok, I’m 37 weeks now with a little girl (Alice) I’m booked in for an induction on 24th feb if she doesn’t come earlier as I have 2 very large fibroids that keep growing. Other than that I’m ok, I can’t wait to finish work on fri!

I’m really pleased for you and sure everything will be ok , keep us posted 😘😘😘

Congratulations!! We had our 20 week scan at 19 +4 as I was travelling in the states with work but we didn’t find out. 18 weeks today we will hopefully know though. Wishing you all the best and everyone else out there still facing this battle. Xx

Oh exciting... I wish I had the patience to wait but I was bursting at the seams this past week lol.

Although at the end of the day it doesn’t really matter what it is when you’ve been through what we have.

Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and a safe delivery 😘
