Hey all, looking for anyone who have had the same challenges as my husband and I. We had our 3rd round of ICSI this month which was unsuccessful and I am now having the worst period ever, unsurprisingly ….
this was our 2nd transfer with 2 embryos one of which was “triple a” graded at time of transfer. We had 4 other embryos that were progressing really well and on day of freezing didn’t make it. We had been told my husbands DNA frag wasn’t great last round but then told just before this round all looks great and really healthy. My eggs are great and nothing to report on my side. We are both really worried and finding it very confusing but the clinic did say it’s most likely a male issue. Anyone have a similar challenge?

Hi, sorry to hear about your struggles. Have you seen a urologist? The Lister has one and also works with Mr Ramsey. I found most clinics don’t properly investigate male factor so we saw an andrologist and a urologist before we went back to a clinic. x
Hi there, we had male factor problems and also had 3 unsuccessful rounds of ICSI. I would 100% recommend seeing Mr Ramsay if you are able to, I wish we had done it sooner. We were told we had a 5% chance of conceiving, i am currently 28wks pregnant after naturally conceiving! - we made a lot of changes after seeing Mr Ramsay that led to huge improvements in sperm dna frag. You can see our journey in my bio. Best of luck, keep the hope xxx
Thanks Laura we have contacted him so can hopefully see what he says soon. We aren’t in the UK but not opposed to traveling if it means getting this fixed. X
I third this! We had 3 rounds ending in miscarriage then found out alongside my own problems we also had make fertility factors at play. Mr Ramsey was seen and we were also referred to a nutritionist (which we initially scoffed at TBH) but who made all the difference and gave us our best round yet.
It’s definitely worth considering and I still wonder if we had done this sooner things would have been very different! Good luck x x
Hi Louanne. So sorry to hear this. i wonder whether your husband - and you - could look at this support group online facebook.com/groups/himfert... is very popular and supportive. Could just help while going through a "sticky" patch. Keep an eye out on the front page of our website too for the free Webinars. There is a regular one for male fertility problems, usually held on a Thursday evening. Diane
