Oh god I did it!!! I promised myself I would not test but here I am. Why are we glutens for punishment!
So I had the ovitrell trigger shot Saturday 7th august and had egg collection Monday 9th my transfer date was Saturday 14th so I'm technically 5dpt! I'd seen that people tested to make sure the ovitrell was out of their system so I'm currently 11 days since ovitrell injection which I believe should be out of my system I naively tested this morning and it was completely negative on clear blue and cursed myself yet still couldn't help do a cheeky one to show my husband that all the ovitrell was out of my system yet there is the faintest of squintiest lines so now I'm in even more hell. Why do we do this to ourselves my blood test is still 6 days away Tuesday! Does anything think it could still be the ovitrell and I've just been incredibly naive again. Ps 2 miscarriages upto 9 weeks and 4 chemical pregnancies all natural. This is my first IVF cycle
the HCG grows quickly but in very low numbers at the very beginning, and you're very early after the transfer, so even if you don't see the line thickening that's normal, as the levels caused by a pregnancy wouldn't really compare to the levels you got through the trigger shot. Actually, most women get a negative before getting a positive, so don't worry too much at this stage! I think a test on Sunday would already be reliable, if you can't wait until Tuesday. Good luck!
