Hi everyone, I hope you’re all feeling good and managing with the ups and downs of fertility treatment!
I have a basic question about Lubion before FET, I understand that before a frozen blastocyst transfer you need 5 days worth of Lubion (plus cyclogest pessaries). However, if I take the Lubion in the morning I will have had 6 doses in contrast to having started in the evening I will have only had 5 doses.. does it matter? Am I overthinking as always?!
Thank you so much for any advice you can offer me! x x

Hi lovely, before FET my clinic always says to start progesterone in the evening with just one dose of cyclogest. Then start the lubion the following day. I don't think it matters how much you have (dosage wise) it's more the timing of when you start taking it.I would ask your clinic as they will be able to tell you exactly what to do and why.
Hi and thanks for answering my question! That’s really interesting they say to start with the cyclogest the day before. My clinic are very relaxed about the whole thing and say that 5 or 6 doses of Lubion pre transfer is fine.. It’d be easier if they made the decision for me!
Argh how annoying! I'm pretty sure that my clinic said to start off with 1 dose of cyclogest as they don't want to shock the body with a sudden high dose... xx
Just started cyclogest tonight and will do lubion at 7am tomorrow. My clinic says lubion anytime but just be sure to pick a time and stick to it each day. My transfer is 11am on Wednesday and I’ll have my progesterone levels checked on Monday morning.
