Went for a scan today to see how the two babies are doing🤗
Baby A is measuring 8 weeks, 5days (21mm) - exactly where he/she should be 🥰
Baby B is measuring 7 weeks, 6 days (14.5mm), the nurse mentioned baby B is higher up and it's hard to get a exact measurement as the baby is hiding and could be 5 days out. But the baby has a heartbeat and has grown since the last scan from 9.3mm.
I am slightly worried that baby B is growing slower than baby A. Anyone got any advice or has this happened to any of you ladies before ?
I'm over the moon that two of our precious babies have stuck, I've got attached to both babies now and hoping they both stay 🙏🙏
Ive now graduated from my fertility clinic and been passed onto the NHS, I'll start weaning off my medication at 12 weeks and my 12 week scan will be in around 3 and a half weeks time x
Thanks for everyone on here for all your help, advice and support. I wouldn't have got this far without you

Ahhh that’s great news, I’ve had a couple of friends where the 2nd baby has measured slightly smaller, both babies have been fine so relax and enjoy your pregnancy now! 🎉🎉🎉 xx
Hey, one of our babies was measuring a few days behind the other. They did say to me that it was all ok though and the measurements were consistently the same at each scan so although it never got up with twin 1 it was always just a few days behind. Hopefully the fact that they have discharged you to the NHS now is a good sign.xxx
My little twin measured at least a week behind from around 7 weeks onwards. Sometimes more than a week. She was well below the 2.5 centile for the whole pregnancy compared to her brother on the 25th-50th centile but she grew at her own pace. I had a lot of scans as she was so small and they were concerned. In the end her placenta detached and both born at 34 weeks - they believe now her placenta wasn’t functioning properly from the start even though the blood flow etc was fine on the ultrasound. She was half the size of her brother but perfectly happy and healthy x
On Monday I was 8w1d and twin 1 measured 8w5d and twin 2 measured 8w2d. Twin 2 has consistently been behind twin 1 in growth but this little one (twin 2) is also hiding at the back so it’s hard to get exact measurements. I’m more focused on whether they’re both growing correctly and have a healthy heartbeat, which thankfully they do. It sounds like it’s common for twins to be different sizes so that’s reassuring and my doctor isn’t concerned either. 🤞🏻🌈🌈☘️ Xx
