My parents live quite far away and want to come stay with us for a week in August. The week they want to come is the week before I would go in for EC (if all going to plan).
I don't get to see them often, but don't know how I'll be feeling after starting stims (which would be a week before they arrive) and I have a feeling I might not want to host then. I will also have a couple of scans this week.
They are aware that I have started IVF treatment.
What would you advise? Bad idea? Or get them to come early and not stay as long?
Thanks!

Personally I would have them. You can feel a bit full and a bit uncomfy during stims but it would be a great thing to take your mind off things. The key thing I've learnt with years of IVF is don't put your life on hold. Have a fab time xx
If they're aware of the situation, it might be nice to have them there to spoil you? You might be fine or you might feel a bit rotten towards the end of stims, but if they know what's going on you can adjust plans and activities as needed. It would be a shame not to see them xxx
Hi pandapants I totally agree with the others I would say 100% yes it will take your mind off it, it’s something nice to do and I know everyone is different but I felt absolutely fine during stims bloated towards the end but didn’t affect anything at all xx have a great time x
