Hi, I had 2 frozen embryos transferred 10 days ago. I got a positive test at 7dp5dt and the positive lines look really dark and clear now at 9 & 10 days.
What does this normally suggest?
Did anyone have this with twins or does it not quite work that way?
Thanks ✨

Hi there, congratulations on your BFP. 🎉 I think the only way you can know for sure is via a viability scan. I had 2 embryos transferred and also had dark lines on my FRER. My HCG levels were also really high so wondered if it was twins but I am pregnant with my one miracle baby.
Sorry didn’t see the rest of your answer at first, just the first line.
Official testing day is only on Wednesday. Will have to sort a blood test and then wait for the viability scan then. The clinic haven’t mentioned blood tests and just gave HPT
I went through my GP for a blood test, they were reluctant but I insisted. Some ladies also pay for private blood tests via medi checks. I will just wait for the viability scan though. Either ways, you are very pregnant so congratulations once again 🥳
Same as joyful star below my clinic don't do bloods which is shocking as my first clinic always say don't relay on hpt. My GP reluctantly did mine twice x
Nice dark lines! It could be twins but you cant really tell to be honest. I had some hCG levels done and my cycle buddy did too....her levels were higher than mine but hers was a singleton and I had twins.xx
Agreed— need to scan! Either way, dark lines are a really good sign that early. That’s what mine looked like with one on day 10 and my beta was around 300. The nurses we’re super pleased and called it a “strong pregnancy”. Still pregnant at 20 weeks now! Wishing you the same luck!
You won't know but you have a very high chance. I checked my HCG at 10pt and it was 330, so my clinic said is more likely that we are having twins and indeed we are now 23 weeks pregnant with twins 🥰 ♥️ on my first scan I didn't expect anything else apart from confirming that we are having 2 little beans that are growing nicely. Congratulations 🎉💐
It's hard to know until you have a viability scan. I had my HCG levels tested at 21 days after transfer and my levels were very high. I went for my viability scan last week and saw 2 heartbeats x
Hey! I was exactly the same, super dark lines. My beta at 11dpt was 1027 and I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant with twins! 😃 so exciting!! I’ve attached my test lines so you can compare.
Wow brilliant! Could very well be. I've had three goes.. Had twins first time, chemical and now I'm 27 weeks preg singleton all ivf. My lines were super dark like that on twins and my beta hcg was over 900 on both my twin and singleton pregnancy so it's hard to know until scan. I went to epu at 6 weeks and seen two sacs but only at last second she spotted two heartbeats it was so early so I'd wait until the 7 week scan. Very exciting. When the lines are dark it's a good strong hcg result 🙏🏼 wishing you all the best x
Hiya! I had my bfp 5dp5dt and thought perhaps twins as it was really early to show up on a test for a singleton but nope - just a 'chubby' girl (sonographer's words not mine!!). I think you need to hang tight until your viability scan, but super congrats either way!! 💖
