Not the sexiest of topics but I'm really struggling here ladies. I'm approaching 8 weeks and it's been like this for a couple of weeks. I have not pooped in 4 days and before then 3 days. Should I call a doctor, a fckng priest, an exorcist???!!! Lactulose is not working, even a double dose. I'm eating healthy and on 3litres of water a day as well as a fruit/spinach smoothie. I'm always uncomfortable and nauseated and fckn knackered so I can't tell if this is adding to it but it cannot possibly be good.. I've tried olive oil, kiwi, soft bananas, hot milk, decaf coffee. Should I just have an espresso? I never drink coffee, I don't like the taste so one couldn't hurt me, right? 😭

That does not sound good! I’d maybe try prune juice before approaching the other options you suggested 😂. It is simple but very effective! Just a SMALL glass (few mouthfuls) for a day or more should do the trick! Good luck x x
I can understand what you are going through. What worked for me was walking (just a bit of exercise) and eating plums ( 6 in one go) but you have to do this regularly otherwise will not work that well 😁 take care 💕🤗
Have you tried Metamucil? Honestly, it's a constant battle. Just keep trying prune juice, fruit and liquids. I alternate between diarrhea and constipation. Just focus on the end goal...holding your baby in your arms! Xxx

Ok.. so the consensus seems to be plums, prunes (aren't prunes just dried plums?) or prune juice! Thank you ladies. I had tried plums with no luck but not prunes.. Will give those a go. WHERE IS THE PREGNANCY MANUAL GODDAMNIT??! No seriously, enough people on the planet have been pregnant, how is there no instructions BOOK for this?! There is one for babies, right?!?!?!

You could try adding a tablespoon of ground flaxseed to your daily smoothie, that’s helping me a little. Pre IVF I found flaxseed a little too effective but am now finding it just about works. I’m on progesterone x3 a day, absolutely knackered, can’t seem to poop or sleep enough. TWW and OTD is this Saturday…
My friend who is pregnant was going crazy with the same issue. She sometimes goes a whole week! She tried all of the above and then tried magnesium tablets (magnesium citrate). She’s further on that you though.You’d have to ask your dr or obstetrician if they’re ok. Otherwise coloxyl? I’d steer away from psyllium etc…unless you drink heaps and heaps of water I find it can make things worse. Good luck x
