2 x Cyclogest twice a day!

As of Saturday, I start 2 x Cyclogest twice a day (400mg). On my previous treatment it was only 1 twice a day. Anyone else on 2 twice a day? If so, do you put both in the front door or the back door or one in each?

I would be grateful for any experiences / advice please 😊 xx

I do 3 a day in the back door! It’s much less messy 😬 I find the progesterone does make me really tired but to be honest I’m on so many meds it could be any of them! Best of luck xxx

I took 4 daily but spread out (back door 😉). No leakage and pretty easy to be honest. My main issue was lack of sleep because of the timings of them. You get used to them I promise x

I'm doing 2 x Cyclogest 3 times a day. Front as recommended by my clinic. Better absorption. I'd only do what they recommend.

Congratulations! I'm day 2 of 2ww and trying my hardest not to go crazy! Did you get any symptoms? I get so despondent when I don't seem to feel anything. I just want a sign! I know it's really early days but it's so hard!

Hi there,

Awww thank you. I still can't believe I'm pregnant. Fingers crossed you get your BFP.

I had lots of cramping but I thought it was most likely from the projesterone.

I had a strange pain which felt like something was digging in. Must have been the embryo burrowing in the lining lol and the day before my beta I had very sharp pains on and off in the morning which lasted a few mins and that was followed by a small bleed. I was obviously worried but I thought it's either implantation bleeding or my cervix is irritated from the suppositories.

I do know someone who was cycling at the same time as me and she had no symptoms at all and she was convinced it was going to be a negative and she got her BFP 2 days after me. TBH I also thought it was going to be a negative for me.

Just hang in there and don't test early. Relax and take it easy. Time will fly xxx

Hello. I'm doing two pessaries once a day at bed time. Vaginal usage is what clinic suggested. It's not great but tiny price to pay for a possibility of getting pregnant 😁

I had to do 2 a day, one of a morning and one of an evening. I did both vaginally and just wore panty liners for the mess.

I’m doing twice a day too, clinic suggested putting in the front at night and behind in the morning so that’s what I’m doing xxx

2 a day of cyclogest is the advised theraputic dose actually and not 1 a day in reaching ideal progesterone levels. Best to put in either both front door or both back door. Front slightly messier but you can wear a panty liner for a few hours until the waxy stuff has come out but ensure to lie down after insertion if using the front for 30 minutes. I read both work as well although the vaginal route has a study showing slightly more effective levels of nourishing the womb lining than the back door. Also with the back door if you poop before an hour of intertion can affect the absorbancy a little. Best of luck. x

Hi!!! I had 4 x Cyclogest a day + 2 x Utrogestan (because of bleeding), so more than you (1800mg/day). In my case I am 12 weeks now. I hope we both have finally healthy babies ❤️
