Heartburn on prognova

Ladies, started the above drug 3 times a day in preparation for my ERA. I have had such bad heartburn/tight chest ever since..

Has this happened to anyone? I took a rennies but it hasn’t brought me relief…any suggestions

Yes it's happened to me. At the beginning of this cycle I really struggled with the progynova. I had terrible heart burn and a chest so tight I actually had to cough a few times. But I was also taking baby aspirin at the same time. And I was taking the aspirin whole rather than dissolving it. Once I dissolved the aspirin and took the tablets slower it went away. I had assumed then that it was the aspirin that had been causing it. But maybe it was the progynova after all.

The only thing a did differently was drink a lot more water each time so maybe that made a difference 🤷🏼‍♀️

Thank you! I couldn’t work out what was causing my discomfort. It’s so intense!

Yes- to relieve heartburn ask if you are able to go on omeprazole. I could. Also I was able to take all 3 tablets together which meant I only had one episode per day and could time it to when I could chill and relieve it quicker so maybe you could ask your clinic if you could do that? Xx

Do you have asthma? I cant take certain drugs like aspirin due to my asthma (get very tight chested, coughing and wheezing).

Hi, Thank you! seasonal asthmatic (brought on my hayfever) but relieved with steroids which I use as part of my protocol.
