Get yourself some form of reward! I got Percy pigs for myself 😂
Also, I made a kick as positive play list that I listen to ten minutes before injections!
Tip: scratch around your skin to feel a less sensitive spot before you stab and let the alcohol wipe dry before you stab or else it will sting.
Plan things in your day for fun and that you enjoy, get a diary and tick off your doses , this makes it feel quicker 👍🏻
Put yourself first 😘💐
Love and hugs 💐
RhinoCat thank you for your message! I’ll definitely reward myself! I definitely need to keep busy because I am so impatient to do my second injection tomorrow 🤣 never thought I’d say this! How about you, are you starting stims soon?
Agree with the reward for yourself! Mine in the summer was ice cream. Otherwise, lots of water and protein. I would have eggs on toast with avocado every morning rather than my usual cereal - a bit of a treat to start the day but also made me feel better about feeding the eggs. Good luck! X
Hi FancyItaly. Just keep that smile going and you should sail through it. Just wanted to wish you well. Diane
Biggest tip would be self care, like the others said it could be a treat like your fav food, or booking yourself in for a pedicure.
You’ll have good days and bad ( well I did) I did a daily journal which really helped and tried to stay positive and get out for a walk and fresh air.
Good luck for your treatment. Xx
A pedicure sounds like a great idea and I have booked it! That’s why I needed advice, I didn’t even think of a pedicure and now I feel I totally need it and deserve it!
You also started treatment recently right? I am doing the short antagonist protocol on this round. Wishing you all the best for your treatment x
Good luck, wishing you all the best with everything. My only tip is use this forum as much and as often as you need, it’s always been a comfort for me x
Good luck! Be good to yourself - it can be a tough ride , the hormones can make you feel pretty emotional, added to the emotions of the excitement and worry - and you might feel tired and bloated as the days progress, so be kind to yourself! Take it easy, breathe deep, take each step at a time and you’ll be fine 💪🙏😊
Hi FrancyItaly - Good luck! Just remember you are going through a rollercoaster of hormones. You will have high and low days so please remind yourself to ride through the wave as it is all part of the journey and be kind to yourself.
Thank you, I will try to stay positive for as long as I can! Are you doing IVF too?
Congrats- it’s baby time. Anyways for me STIMS was ok!!!! But it was after my egg retrieval I got OHSS!! My stomach blow up like I was 7 months pregnant. It was so bad that my husband forced me to go to the emergency. They sent me home and said I had to wait it out but it was so painful and uncomfortable. Hopefully it doesn’t happen with you, but if does you will be ok. Hope that helps.
Heya sorry to barge into the conversation, and hope you don’t mind me asking - but what happened with your OHSS? Did you still do a fresh transfer? Or did you do a freeze all? x
