7week scan

Today we made it to our seven week scan. So relieved baby is measuring 7wk4days and I am 7wks2days. I had some earlier scans due to spotting I must add.

It’s been a long 3 weeks to get here with spotting every day but been reassured this can be the meds and increased blood flow. I also had a bleed on Saturday and ended up in a&e absolutely in a state.

I know I will never truly relax but I need to try a little bit.

I won’t post a pic as I know how upsetting this can be. But I want everyone to know I am thinking of you where ever you are on your journey. Wishing you all lots of luck xxx

Massive congratulations another hurdle smashed. Another step closer to having your baby. Oh and lots of women spot in pregnancy but have healthy babies- out of all my friends and family I don't know any that hasn't any spotting all had healthy babies by the way. I think the thing the midwife always said to me was as long as you are not severely cramping with heavy bleeding then it's probably ok! As for brown spotting is old blood and again midwife never was concerned by it! I have a bit brown spotting but I know it's the progesterone as one night I forgot to do it and I had none and I suspect yours is caused by that too. You are 1 day ahead of me. Xx

I think I am just going to be someone who spots every day and hope it stops once meds are reduced. I hope all went well with your scan if you have had yet xx

Congratulations Katrina. I have had spotting on and off for the past week and also passed a bit of old tissue a week ago. My scan is not until a week on Monday... I really hope it is all okay down there. My only symptom is slightly sore breast. It’s nice to hear your pregnancy is evolving well. Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy xx

Congrats ! Amazing news . Sorry it was such a stressful time . Thanks for sharing , I’m currently waiting for my scan and I’m looking out for any signs of miscarriage . It’s a weird time as it should be a happy time but I won’t be able to accept I am pregnant till the second scan I think ! Are you stopping the progesterone now or will you carry on till the second scan at 12 weeks ? X

Thank you. I complete Understand how your feeling. I thought I would be so happy when I found out but I have never been so anxious. I am wishing you lots of luck. I am on a reducing dose.

I will stop lubion injection at 10weeks.

12 weeks I drop down to 1 pessary morning and night to 14 weeks. Then at 14 weeks one once a day until 15 weeks when I will stop completely xx

Wow it’s a lot of medication ! I haven’t been told what happens next, I’m going in today to get my meds and hopefully find out what my regimen will be . I can’t wait to stop the injections mainly as my husband has lost his touch 😂 so I’m pretty bruised now 😬 wishing you best of luck x xx
