Period after egg freezing, why is it here so quick?

Hello. My June period started on the 13th. I had my egg collection on the 26th. I was expecting my July period to start around the 15th but I've started now!

That means I've started after 19 days when my usual cycle is 32-34 days.

I've contacted the clinic and waiting to hear back. Should I be concerned?

To note, this is egg freezing so I'm not doing transfers or anything. I've never had a cycle of 19 days.

Yes, this is normal. I always bled 3-5 days after EC, and the paper the clinic shared with me said to expect a period 3-7 days after EC.

Thank you! The clinic confirmed it was normal too. This didn't happen with my first egg collection so I didn't anticipate this at all but relieved it's to be expected.

I think so. I bled about 5 days after EC. It's not like a normal cycle, there's been all sorts going on in there!!

Yeah it feels more heavy than usual
