Embryo transfer day 30.06.2021
congrats on being PUPO😁i had my transfer 6 days ago and had a faint line this morn. early days but my test date is next week. Tbh i went shopping on transfer day and cooked when i got home. I had a severe headache on transfer day. Then i worked from home next day, i didnt really rest my feet. i didnt eat anything or drink anything, just my meds and folic acid
Good luck to you! My fourth transfer is tomorrow 🍀🤞🏻 I’ve tried it all… I’ve put my feet up, kept my feet warm, eaten warm nutritious food, eaten pineapple core, McDonald’s chips, drank pom juice, lightly exercised (gently walks and some light yoga). First two sadly didn’t work for me, the third was a CP. This time I’m just going with the flow… I’ll still keep my feet warm (warm feet, warm uterus) and eat warming nutritious foods but I’m not being as strict as I have been in the past really. If I fancy a slice of banana cake, I’ll eat it! I plan to take myself on some nice walks, eat out for lunch with the hubby (as I’ve taken the week off) and just generally do things that bring me a little joy like reading, baking, eating nice food!
Baby dust 🍀🤞🏻 Xx
Thank you. And best of luck to you. Sending baby dust for this to stick... Fingers crossed for you.
Congrats! I had my transfer today too. The advice I was given was not to over-exert myself physically (e.g. running, gym etc), avoid hot baths, saunas etc, and eat well. I plan to wfh next two weeks, eat well but without denying myself the odd treat (the tww is hard enough as it is!) and try not to stress (probably easier said than done). Best of luck with the tww.
I had my transfer yesterday too. It is my second try. For the first one I had a BFP and then started to bleed and ... that was it, don’t know what happened. This time I don’t plan for anything special, just doing my day to day work and not stress too much. Hope it will work this time and I wish the same for you!
Mine is today but testing a day early so similar timings to you. My first one too, I think as long as you are avoiding the obvious as if you are pregnant, eating well, rest but still get movement in like walking.. I am fairly healthy anyway but I won’t deny myself some chocolate if I want it - I’m not doing anything special, it’s a schedule enough with the meds and the extra pressure of eating certain amount of certain things won’t help me mentally. If it doesn’t work out it won’t be our fault or something we done or ate. Good luck xx
Hey, lots of luck to you! I had my second transfer the day before you, after my first back in April being a positive but sadly ending in a miscarriage! It’s a long & painful wait but i recommend trying to keep your mind occupied with lots of trash tv, relaxing and some short walks! Take your meds religiously & eat healthy but def allow yourself some treats. Stress really affects your body so try and stay relaxed and optimistic (so much easier said than done I know!!) Lots of water, greens and some red meat for protein, zinc and iron (people avoid it altogether which is completely wrong!). Sending you lots of baby dust, I’m in it with you 🤞🏽💫😘
Good luck. I had my transfer yesterday as well. 2 embryos made it this time 🤞🤞 I was told not to raise core body temp e.g. no hot baths, hot tubs or excessive excersise between then and test. They also said to act as if already pregnant e.g. avoiding things you shouldn't eat /drink but generally to get on with things, live your life and keep your head busy. She also recommended not testing before the date given 11th. Xx
Thank you. Baby dust to you and all the other ladies to x
