Follicle Growth - can they shrink??

Hi All,

I’ve had my scan after day 7 of stimms and my follicles seem to have shrunk since the last scan. The scans were by two different sonographers. Last scan showed dominant follicle at 16mm and today it is 14mm. I was told that it can be the position of the camera but now I don’t know if they are growing or not. I was told that they will review my bloods to let me know if meds need to be increased and consider my next scan on Friday but I don’t feel reassured and more worried. Has this ever happened to anyone else before? I just hope they keep growing. 🤞

Hi Kin. It could be that the original one has "popped". However the others should soon catch up, fingers crossed. Diane

Thanks Diane. It’s just odd how the number of follicles is the same and the other ones are still around the same size except the dominant one has decreased. I was hoping to see progress and that they were increasing in size. Hopefully on Friday we will see the progress. Thanks for your reply and best wishes x
