Did HCG test at 11dp5dt, got BFN

Well, I did the test and it was BFN. Less than 2, so, really nothing.

This was a good looking 5 day blast, so I'm worried that at 42 I will just never get pregnant again.

Sorry to read this, how many rounds have you done. Whilst it’s rubbish sometimes it is just luck, it doesn’t mean you won’t get pregnant next time. It took one of my friends 7 rounds and one friend 9.. no reason really that was just the one that stuck.

Take some time then positive head back on. Hugs xx

This was my third transfer and I'm on my second "cycle," did my second collection earlier this month. I am 42 so basically I'm screwed.

There are people a lot older than you who have got pregnant so I don’t think you should give up x

I’m sorry to read this but you can do it! I just turned 43 and am due in 4 weeks with my first. Keep positive and start this next cycle with the right mindset. You’ve got this! ♥️

I'm SO sorry Lux, I was really hoping this would turn around for you. I know you'll be feeling just gutted. And I get it : you think, I went through the palaver of a full cycle, managed to clear every milestone, got a blastocyst (so already better odds), and super quality and then... nothing. Its just so hard. You just think WHY didn't it stick?? It just sucks. The sweetener here at least is that you have a frostie waiting for you. Try to hang on to that, and believe that that could be the one 🥰 For now though, hoping you have some support around you to help you digest this disappointing news 💔 xx

I understand your pain and disappointment Lux, I really do. But there are still options out there to consider and you’re only 42. Take time to take this hit, then have a think on next steps and get back on the saddle- you can do this! 🤞🏻❤️Xx

Taking time off is not a possibility for biological and financial reasons.

Oh no I'm so very sorry, how devastating. Be kind to yourselves. I have heard FET can be more successful as there is less stress on the body. Really hope the next embryo is your baby Xx

We were going to do all FET but my doctor said my clinic had better rates with fresh and wanted to do a fresh one. I hope he didn't mess up by doing that to us!!

I'm sure your dr is doing what is best for you. You are still within that fertile period after a loss. I see why he thought it was a good idea. I was just saying FET have a good chance too. I was trying to be reassuring hope I haven't freaked you out ( not my intention) I have seen people have success with both fresh and fet. Really hope the next transfer is your miracle baby Again really sorry this one wasn't bfp totally awful for you. Xx

Hey Lux I'm sorry to hear that, there is no way to make what is happening right now better, it is totally shit......but you have silver linings, you can make blasts, and you can get positive pregnancy tests, that is something to hold on to 🧡 Is there any chance to do some extra era etc tests before transferring the next one? x

no more tests to do, and it's illegal where we are to PGA test so this is all we have

I'm so sorry, I was really hoping for some good news. Do you have a plan B? I suppose there's plenty of time to think about it, just now I hope you are having some chill time. X

I mean, plan B, we have one embryo left. I guess that is our plan B.

Hi LuxFleur, I am really sorry to hear this. I just wanted to say I had very similar story to yours last October, and now I am pregnant for the second time ( 19 weeks). And I am 42 years old too. Please do not give up, you will get pregnant again. Hugs xxx
