Low Progesterone levels During TWW

My progesterone levels are 10.99 5dp3pt is that normal to be that low?

Are you in the UK? Do you know if the levels are in nmol/l or ng/ml as that can make a big difference.xx

They are in ng/ml

Hi lovely, that seems a bit low to me. My clinic likes to see at least 17ng/ml around this point. xx

It is a bit on the low side but if they up your medication they can quickly come up. My clinic usually like to see around double that. Good luck.xx

I spoke with my clinic yesterday (embryo transfer day) & requested a progesterone blood test after reading all the comments on here about low levels. Also last cycle I bled at 6dp5dt so was really worried about my levels being too low and having caused the early bleed.

My clinic doesn’t routinely test progesterone levels and said it’s because there’s no real agreed figure for what the levels should be 🤷🏻‍♀️So they can’t really comment upon whether it’s high or low?!? I still asked for the test though.

They rang today to say my levels were fine (27) so I’ve just got to trust that.

If you’ve had your levels checked during the 2WW and they were deemed low, surely they would have advised you to up your dose?

How much are you currently taking if you don’t mind me asking?

Sorry I’m not much help but if it was me, I’d ring the clinic and voice my concerns. This process is hard & costly enough to just go with the flow. I’m glad I pushed for a test and I think you’ll be glad if you ring and ask for advice.
