Ivf funding uk

Iv been referred for IVF Funding, But Iv heard that if my partner and I don’t have the same home address we can be denied ivf on the NHS, Iv been in relationship for 7 years, we had 6 rounds of Letrozole 2.5mg no success. We basically live together but I’m still down at living at my mums address, Iv not seen anything stating that we can’t have separate addresses. But I’m now worrying that I could be refused ivf on the nhs, Is it worth me changing all my information over before I send off my IVF funding questionnaire?? Thanks

Hey, might be different in your area but we had to show a proof of address to show we both lived at the same address and lived together the last two years.

Hi TTC, We got refused as we had different doctors! We lived together but my partner was still using his old doctors from where he used to live, it’s only 5 miles away. So he had to change to my doctors. So I would guess they will want same address! X

Hi. I think it depends on your area. Me and my husband recently got married and have different addresses with the NHS but this was not an issue to access funding.

If you actually live together and your mums address is technically an address to receive mail do you have any other form of proof you are associated with your partners address

For instance if you drive/ride a motorcycle your vehicle and insurance would need to be registered at your partners address

Most trusts don’t provide IVF on the NHS to single women and you have to provide proof of a long standing relationship which is generally evidenced by showing proof you both live at the same address? I’d just get everything changed over? You’ve been together a long time so it would look odd that you don’t so much have a bank account registered at the same address? Or on the electoral roll or on the council tax bills?

Ye I thought it would be best changing my address details, Iv changed my bank today I will have to make phone calls to do everything else, I didn't want to change my doctors because Iv been at that surgery for years but if needs must, Just hope it all works out once Iv changed my details. thanks for the replies x
