I had my scan today i just can’t think straight .. the baby measured 6 weeks 4 days i thought i was 7 weeks as per my LMP but my RE said since we transferred the embryos 22april then i am 6 weeks 4 days but i don’t know if its true or i am measuring behind .. he did see a heartbeat but couldn’t hear it it was intermittent .. he said to come back in a week for follow up .. i am out of words right now ... kept crying all the way home .. he didn’t seem concerned but i know my chances are very slim right now ...

Hi Endo warrior it sounds like your RE is correct re dates. Did they seem concerned? I know its hard but try and take each day as it comes. You heard a heartbeat which is great news. Unfortunately infertility steals the joy of this journey. But for now try to see the positive of hearing babys heartbeat.
Hey ! Thank you.. he did not seem concerned but i know my RE he doesn’t show concerns to his patients until the very last minute ... it was very on off heartbeat not continous and i had to hold my breath so he can detect it .. i am trying very hard to stay positive but the chances are not looking very good i read a lot where at 6 weeks 4 days a heartbeat should be heard loud and clear
Well congratulations on your pregnancy. The Good thing the baby has a heart beat and I am sure it will be ok come next week. However i did calculate the transfer day and like you it did say you should be 7weeks 4 day if it was a 5 day embryo or 7 weeks 1 day if its a 3 day embryo. But if they are not concerned i guess its not a problem. Good luck
Hey thank you for responding .. i calculated like you exactly it seems i am measuring behind but he did not tell me .. the thing is i know my dr he doesn’t show his concerns unless something drastic happens .. he always gives things a chance but from where i am looking things are not headed to a good end 😥
