Hi
It depends what your clinics advice is. My clinic said you could have the first one if you wanted it but not the second.
I think some other ladies have been told they have to wait a certain time period between the vaccine and starting a cycle
I decided not to have mine, so don’t have a definitive answer
From my understanding it shouldn’t be a problem. The only implications are if someone develops flu like symptoms then the clinic would not want to enter facility if symptomatic even if it’s from vaccine.
I was told to wait just after transfer for that reason. I would just check with your clinic.
I’m getting my first jab on Tuesday and I’m in the middle of down reg. My clinic said it was fine to get it done. I told them the date and if I do get flu like symptoms for a day or two, it’s no where near any dates I’m booked in for scans so shouldn’t be a problem. I’m really keen to at least get my first one out the way before making any progress!
My clinic said they want a 3 week gap between the jab and egg collection date. My jab is today and I should be just over 3 weeks until egg collection. I was so worried about catching Covid and my treatment being cancelled last time that it caused a lot of stress, which may have affected the result.
For me, the potential of a tiny risk from having the jab is totally outweighed by the fear and risk of Covid and the pressure of strict self isolation for both my husband and I. I don't want to go through that again!
Ask your clinic, mine said so delay between. Consultant basically said get it to protect myself. Advice now is for pregnant women to get it, I’d planned to delay my second of treatment was successful x
As you have already had the vaccine, you would be fine to start IVF - the potential issue with IVF and vaccines is if you have the jab either during stimulation or in the 10 weeks following egg collection/8 weeks following BFP (ie first trimester). It seems every clinic has different advice, some of which contradicts the RCOG statement, so have a read of the below statements from British Fertility and RCOG:

rcog.org.uk/en/guidelines-r...
xx
I had my first dose few weeks before my treatment it was fine for me.
Official advice is doing it before starting isn’t a problem, although check with your clinic if you’re about to start imminently. The jab will give you and baby more protection, especially in the 3rd trimester. The RCOG basically says you can have it whenever but might be sensible, if you have a positive pregnancy result, to delay for first 12 weeks as those are the most crucial in baby’s development. Although there’s no evidence of problems if you did want to get in first trimester from what I’ve read. x
