Temperature when pregnant

Has anyone taken their temperature when they have gotten a BFP and what was it?

Hi lovely, I think the BBT is not really reliable during the 2ww if you are on progesterone. If it's a natural cycle then maybe... xx

It's a tough one isn't it! You know, sometimes the ones where you are the most hopeless are the ones that work - don't give up yet :)I'm good thanks lovely - just waiting for our PGS results to come back - eeeeeeek xx

We have 9 so reaaaaally hoping we get at least 1 goodun! I think it takes a couple of weeks xx

That’s so exciting!! To know you will have a perfect embryo. I only ever get about 2 so it wouldn’t be worth my while. Have you had a bfp before?

Well it would be nice to know at least if this has been our issue so far! We've had 1 chemical from a fresh transfer and 4 BFNs from frozens.... so it would be amazing if it was the answer xx

That’s such a great number of embryos. You are bound to have at least 2 if not more!

I’ve had a BFN from a frozen, and 4 bfn’s from fresh so my doctor reckoned it was implantation that was the problem. I’m on steroids and intralipids for this one. I’ve had cancelled cycles midway and also from cysts so I’ve done a lot of stims. I’m so used to the injections now it actually doesn’t bother me anymore. Mad isn’t it!

Yes we're lucky to have never had an issue creating embryos - just can't get them to stick! I'll also have steroids and intralipids for my next transfer as have high NK cells... Gosh that's a lot to go through too - I've had a cyst too - it's so frustrating.

Me too! I used to be terrified of needles - now I'm so used to them I don't even flinch.

I have NK cells too! It seems a lot of people suffer with this!

Thanks so much. Not feeling it though but I’m determined for it to happen so I’ll be continuing after this.

They do indeed! It feels like a lot of people recently on here have had success after using steroids - so here's hoping!Yes me too - I'm pretty stubborn!

I never took my temperature but I was extremely hot during the tww. I was so hot that I was drinking bottle after bottle of water and I was still thirst, to the point I woke up with my lip bleeding to how it was dry. I did get a positive test. The body temperature was one thing that was different from my first transfer. I dont know if it was the progesterone because after my two weeks my body wasn't that hot and I took progesterone right up to 10weeks, when I was ask to stop all medications a few weeks ago. Hey Mellyboo, thanks for your reply, I haven’t been thirsty, just felt a little hotter than normal. It’s ranging between 37 and 37.2 which is a little higher than I normally am around 36.6 to 36.8. Like Millbanks said, it’s probably the progesterone 😩 - I’ve been drinking water which tbh, I haven’t drank much of in the past but I seem to be peeing a lot. Probably my body getting used to it. Oh it’s all such a whirlwind!! Congratulations on your pregnancy, such lovely news. How are you feeling? xx

Thank you. Some days I feel good but somedays I wish I was at the bench mark to give birth. Yesterday was a bad day for me. My uterus was in severe pain and if I move wrong I feel a terrible stretch pain to the point I scream out. I did transfer two embryos because my first transfer didn't work but boy did I get a surprise they both stuck. That is why I feel like it is so rough for me because I am pregnant with twins. To be honest I am nervous because I haven't move out my first trimester yet and it seems my body is failing me.

Oh wow!! Twins! Double congrats!! Your body is adjusting so it’s gonna be tough. Make sure to mind yourself and don’t be doing too much! Awww you must be overjoyed tho, think of the end result! Two beautiful babas! Really happy for you xx

Aww you so sweet thanks for the encouragement. I cant wait and the good thing because i did embryo testing i know the sex of the babies. it should be a boy and a girl. So this will be the end of the road for me.

Not been preggers but measured it during my last (failed) round and it was 37.4, which is 0.8C higher than it usually is mid luteal. Definitely all just administered progesterone! xx
