Evening all. I have been given an OTD of 9dp5dt. Doesn’t that seem too early? I am terrified of getting a negative but plunging into despair because of a false negative would just seem a waste of life. Any thoughts?

OTD seems early
That does seem early, last time with a fresh transfer it was 11dp5dt and this time it’s 13dp5dt but they couldn’t tell me why it was longer this time (I think perhaps they worked out the dates wrong so we’re still testing on day 11). 9 seems early though but I don’t know
Is it a blood test you’re having or a HPT? If it’s a blood test, that’s standard in some clinics (like mine). If it’s negative, I believe some clinics will ask you to stay on medicine until two days later and retest. Mine personally doesn’t do that as they’d expect to see a positive result by 9dp5dt. Good luck 🍀 xx
Mine is 14dp5dt, I’m sure I’ve seen others test at 9dpt but it’s been a blood test. You could always phone to double check, they can then explain maybe why it’s a bit earlier x
Mine says test on day 10, which is 15 days after natural ovulation (5 day old embryo)... I’ve always had an accurate result on day 10. Wishing you lots of luck! Xx
Mine was 9dp5dt- if you think about it that is actually 14DPO and when most peoples periods would be due and a pregnancy test on the day of your missed period is pretty much 100% accurate
Mine was 11dp5dt x
Mine was 9dp5dt so I think in some clinic is like that
Hi! They told me to test at 9 days post 5 day fresh transfer too. I've tested today at home as they instructed and got a BFP (so shocked). So defs not too early I would go with the clinics advice. Thinking about it it's 14 days post fertilisation which is when you would normally test if it was natural conception anyway. Good luck xxx
