OTD Is 9dp5dt - is that really early?

Hi all,

We’ve been told by our clinic to test 14 days after collection, which will be 9dp5dt (next Wednesday)?

Does that seem really early? I feel like it should be 11 or 12? This is our first fresh transfer though so not sure.

Any thoughts would be v appreciated - thanks!

Hi we had our FET on 29th Nov and we tested on 10th Dec so we were 10dp5dt xx

I'm testing on Monday which also 9dp 5dt, so I guess if both our clinics are doing it then it should be fine! 😁

My clinic was 9dp5dt. If you think about it that’s equivalent to 14dpo so it’s definitely not too early. Good luck with everything. Xx

My clinic do 13dp5dt for fresh or frozen but I’ve always cheated and tested early, I have always had an accurate result by day 9. 2 x BFP and 1xBFN. Good luck! X

That is interesting. I have been told 11 days past 5dt, but we are driving to Scotland that day to see family for Christmas. We are dreading getting a negative and then having to make the journey 😧. Maybe we could get away with one day early.... or I might just doubt it anyway! I might ask the clinic...

My OTD was scheduled 7dp5dt and I tested at home at 6dp5dt and got a faint positive, which was confirmed the next day by blood work. I have now a 8 week baby.

I remember reading somewhere that the trigger shot is out of the system in approx 9 days, but this might depend on the trigger shot.

Mine was 15dp5dt (FET) I think they were trying to kill me!

Clinics seem to give a big variation in time scales. I was always 14dp5dt for the NHS. Then for private it is bloods 9dp5dt or urine test 12dp5dt. Good luck.xx
