Awaiting 6 week scan, no symptoms.

Hi ladies, can anyone give any advice. I should be 6+1 today. I know it’s early for symptoms but I’ve spotted brown almost every day since 4 days after transfer. I had HCG bloods taken last weds & Friday (today is Friday) so exactly 1 week ago bloods were ok, HCG went from 4485 to 8847, 8847 when I was 5+1. I did a clear blue earlier this week which said 3+. I’m just so worried that there will be nothing at the scan. Is it normal to feel ‘normal’? I feel a bit slow/tired, but I honestly think that’s because my brain is going 10 to the dozen! This wait has been worse than the 2WW, so much harder than I imagined xxx

I had no symptoms at all - literally nothing - felt totally normal and I had twins at my 6 week scan x

I didn't have and symptoms until later either. Also had pink/brown spotting and was pregnant with twins.

The first few weeks of pregnancy are so hard for the worrying. I agree it’s much harder than 2WW. Lots of ladies have no symptoms in first few weeks of pregnancy so try not to worry. Hopefully your first scan will help put your mind at rest. X

Completely normal, I was the same. I know it’s hard but try not to worry. I’m now 11 weeks and other than some extreme tiredness I’ve had no symptoms. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy

I have had no symptoms at all either and when I spoke to my midwife about my concerns she said to look at it like we’ve had a hell of a journey getting to this point, so this is the world now giving us a break with no symptoms which most women wish for in a pregnancy ❤️

Thank you all. I’ll let you know how Tuesday goes 🤞🤞. I am a midwife!! I know this is rare, so if it’s all good news then maybe it is the universe throwing me a bone, as sukibubs said! Xx

Hi ladies. Sorry for my late feedback. Our scan was fine! I cried so much & apologised to my husband & myself for doubting so much. We’ve had 4 miscarriage & 3 failed ivf so my brain is really programmed to think the worst. Even with really high HCG which doubled after 48 hours I still doubted. I should be 8 weeks tomorrow (by ivf dates) & have another scan next Tuesday (perk if working for the nhs I think, I’m v a midwife so my colleague/friend who works in scan is doing it for me, otherwise I’d have paid privately). I’m still doubting it will be ok be t week as only ‘symptom’ is being really tired & hungry. Xxxx

Be strong, I had no symptoms whatsoever that I was certain something was wrong, didn't have a single symptom. At week 17 I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes, pelvic girdle pain and carpal tunnel syndrome. So there's plenty of time. I'm 24 weeks pregnant tomorrow after a long road. Keep the chin up🤞🏻🤞🏻 🥰🥰
