Hello fam! I just need to share. I’m really heartbroken. I had my BFP but I haven’t had a single symptom of pregnancy not even my boobs (they r so light, lighter than normal). HCG results day 14 post transfer, 228, day 16 448, and day 18 668. I’m currently 6+1 today and decided to go for ultrasound today and the clinic only performed abdominal ultrasound which shows I’m not pregnant. I am so confused and sad that this is the end of the road for this journey.
Advice and suggestions are highly welcome 🙏🏽

Symptoms can fluctuate. When I was pregnant I didn’t have any symptoms at all. I hope it’s just the case it was to early and everything works out for you got my 🤞🏻 xx
I agree, I had no symptoms apart from symptoms related to IVF but my blood test confirmed my HCG was increasing. Stomach ultrasound showed nothing but a internal scan a few weeks later showed a glimmer of hope. If your HCG are rising thats positive sign. Not all women have pregnancy symptoms at the beginning. So, please don't panic, let's hope 🙏 like me there are things happening. Also, this is not the end of the road. I know IVF is expensive if not funded but your still a women and ive heard of miracles happening in many ways. You will one day share that love with someone.
Hey Hun, I too think that it’s too early for a abdominal scan. I had my viability scan at 6.5 weeks and it was internal. They said they only perform abdominal scan if it’s 10 weeks or +. As the sack is too tiny to come up on any abdominal scan before that point. Please speak to your clinic and try to book an internal scan or go private. Don’t be too worried about symptoms, I’ll be 14 weeks tomorrow and I had almost no symptoms up until now except cramps and bleeding which as you know is very very worrying at any point. Specially if there’s no symptoms. But all’s well so far. All the best. xx
Hey hun. I wouldn't take much notice of the abdominal scan at this point. I actually think it's quite irresponsible for them to offer this as it should be internal scan due to the sac being so small. Bloods will be an accurate way of confirming your pregnancy but have you done a recent pregnancy test to perhaps check you are still pregnant? My clinic ask us to perform a pregnancy test the day before we go for a scan at 7 weeks to check it's not a chemical/early mc. A viability scan is normally performed at 7 weeks and it is always done internally. Also I had no pregnancy symptoms when pregnant with my little boy. I did have ohss but that's another story. Lol. Xxx
Thank you so much Lovemylion. Congratulations on your little boy. I did a blood test early today before going for the scan but won’t get the result till tomorrow morning. I’m just hoping this abdominal scan is too soon. I am also praying for a sign just to feel something in my body. It’s driving me nuts.
I dont want to get your hopes up just incase it isn't good news, but you're still very early for an abdominal scan. It is unlikely you'd be able to see anything at this point .. a transvaginal scan might be able to pick it up but even then its still quite early.

I went at 6+5 tried abdominal scan first but was too small then did trans vag and saw everything we were supposed too, did the scan place not do trans vag? Usually before 8w it’s hard to see with an abdominal scan. Good luck
Please don’t panic I don’t understand why the clinic will did abdominal scan at 6+1 this is way to early to see anything as long as you are not bleeding try to relax and go for Vagina scan when you are 7 weeks and if you are bleeding you can call ur clinic for urgent scan praying everything goes well with you
I had bleeding just before 6w so went for an early scan at my private clinic. They did an abdominal scan first but couldn’t really see anything as it was too early. The did a vaginal ultrasound same day and there were 2 sacs and 2 heartbeats. I hope that all will be well with you and that it was just too early for the abdominal scan. x
I'll join everyone else here in saying that it's very strange that they tried to do an abdominal ultrasound on you at six weeks!! I could barely see anything at all with an internal scan at 6 weeks! I'm now 8 weeks and it's STILL too early for an abdominal scan. I hope you can get some better answers soon!
Has to be a dildocam for that early. Also its very early even for that. My clinic wouldn't do an internal viability scan until 7+weeks. When you're this early every day makes a difference.
Also no symptoms can be totally normal. The only symptoms I had were from the progesterone pessaries rather than the pregnancy.
I know it's totally impossible, but you need to ignore this scan totally and start again when you can either have an internal scan at 7+ weeks (at 6 weeks you'll only see a sac and probably not a heartbeat, whereas at 7+ weeks you'll see something that looks like a prawn and a little beating heart).

I'll chime in just to agree with everyone on here that an abdominal scan at 6 weeks seems very early. My 6 week scan was transvaginal and before we started my doctor warned me of the possibility of not seeing anything because the sac may be too small at that point. Perhaps you can find a private clinic that offers viability scans? I don't think you're of the race yet hun....
And me... I had a scan at 9.5 weeks but even then they couldn't see anything so I'd definitely ask for an internal scan. Or, if your confidence in your clinic has gone, pay for a private early scan. They're not too expensive (in the grand scheme of IVF!!!) and will be able to give you an answer. I'd be careful continuing to do pregnancy tests as I know that once your HCG rises there's too much to be picked up and it may give you a false negative. As others have said though blood tests should confirm. Wishing you lots of luck xx
Can i just step in and say the fact it isnt doubling but is rising can be a sign of ectopic pregnancy i had this exact same issue and it took 3 scans for scanner to finally find the baby in my fallopian tube please dont leave this make sure they keep scanning to find the pregnancy
Hi lovely, sorry you are having to go through this stress! I wanted to echo what the other ladies were saying. I went for a 6 week scan at the hospital and it had to be internal. I actually feel really mad this has happened. I know it’s easy for me to say but again I would honestly wait till the next scan to rule anything out. I’ll keep my fingers crossed xxx
I know it’s so tough! The symptom thing honestly I have had hardly any. I know some woman have morning sickness and all sorts but just remember every woman is different. It’s also hard that with the covid thing there isn’t much to do apart from walks etc which doesn’t help the time go past that but quicker. Personally I Would see if I could move it to an earlier app or pay to get a scan. Fingers crossed for today’s bloods results xxx
Hi I have read that a pregnancy can not be seen by u/s until the HCG is 2000 or above. At that level it would still need to be seen via an international U/S. Give it time and relax just be mindful for any abnormal pain to one side of your lower abdomen or shoulder (can be signs of an ectopic) Prayers and Best Wishes 💗
Needs to be an internal scan until about 10 weeks. Did you pay for this scan? If so I would ask them to refund or do the proper scan for that stage of pregnancy. So ridiculous they have left you in this limbo when they could do the proper scan! Hope the next one brings good news 🤗 xx
