DAY 5 WITHOUT BLAST

Hi everyone,

I need some help please. I brought my wife to the Fertility Centre for IVF transfer but the embryologist told her the 7embryos haven't form a blast. Can she proceed with the transfer?

Maybe if any embyo is at morula stage ( pre blasto) or day 6 transfer if you got any late blastos.

Hi AMA. The embryos are probably just a little slow at multiplying, and would be safe to transfer on Day 6. It/they will be back inside your wife where they belong, so hopefully will continue to thrive. Good luck! Diane
