7dp5dt spotting and bfn 😔

Just what the title says really. This is my second cycle and last chance as we only get 2 funded. We had none to freeze. I was 40 two weeks ago and it feels like it's over. I've had pink when I wipe since I got up this morning. Has anyone experienced this and gone on to have a bfp? Clutching at straws here.

Yes, I had a fet in March, and started spotting on 7dp5dt to 9dp5dt. Thought it was game over, to my surprise I had a bfp on my otd. I am 42 and now 8+3 weeks pregnant. When is your otd? x

Thank you so much for replying that's really encouraging. My OTD is Wednesday o another 4 days, I've to do a home test. Just with having a negative test today as well has made me fear the worst wish I hadn't taken it. Congrats on you pregnancy btw x

Thanks 😊 Personally I think 7dp5dt is too early to test, but I know how anxious the 2ww makes you feel. But if you are only spotting I believe you are still in with a chance. I had my transfer on a Weds and was told it could take up to the Saturday to implant, if that was the case there wouldn’t be a high enough level of hcg to be picked up by a test 🤷‍♀️ They give you a date for a good reason, so I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for you 🤞x

Thanks, my transfer was last Saturday afternoon, trying to stay positive and stay out the bathroom checking 😕 I thought 7dpt would be too late for it to implantation but I'm hoping for the same result as you x 🤞

Yes! I had pink spotting 7dp5dt all day. I tested 8dp5dt first thing in the morning and got a feint positive. It got stronger each day. Pink or brown spotting is generally good. Good luck!

Sadly it's got heavier overnight and I've got lower back and thigh pain which usually spells af for me. Thanks for responding x

I am 39, I had spotting 5dp5dt for a few days and I am now 23 weeks, I was told to wait 14 days before testing as I was also a fresh cycle and the medication from the injections can give you unaccurate results so try not to test too early. lots of luck to you
