A success story for anyone who needs it (apologies to anyone it upsets, I know this journey is a blooming hard one and there were days these helped a lot but days they didn’t !!)
Our miracle was born on Saturday 17th of April, 39 +1 weeks and is healthy and well.
He was our ‘4th best embryo’ according to the ratings and 3rd transfer after 6 failed IUIs and a chemical/early miscarriage from our 2nd FET, he is proof the embryo ratings aren’t everything, it really does just take that special ‘one’. He was also a single transfer, I am 39 years old. We had treatment as we were a same sex couple. Little did we know it would take 5 years though!
We also had about 10 weeks of bleeding from a SCH from about day 7p5dt which hasn’t affected him now at all!
This was also the transfer where I threw the ‘diet’ and rule book out the window and did what made us happy before and after transfer, my BMI was also the highest it had been in the 5 years- health is important but so is mental health (if not more) we all tend to put a lot of pressure on ourselves to do the ‘perfect’ prep for transfer. It made not a jot of difference for me and clearly the opposite worked!
Hope this post helps someone out there with some needed motivation or hope on their journey and I wish you all the luck in the world! 🤗
Thanks to everyone on here for your support to me, my goodness there was times this forum was a lifeline! 💐
Love to you all 💙💜
