New chapter/ICSI

Morning everyone.

Recently had my investigations appointment, went well 1 ovary is slightly misbehaving, Other ovary looks good 😊 Waiting for blood results etc.

I have to lose quite a lot of weight (which I knew) taking me to the 12/13 stone bracket, i’m 16st 1 , lost 1st 7lb so far.

Any tips are welcome 😊😊

I was just wondering, for any of you lovely ladies who have already embarked on your journey, when the time comes to start treatment (ours would be ICSI) how many apps a week would this be? Roughly? Within the 7 week period. I know this is a really far in advance question but i just have my thinking head on regards work purposes. And just trying to have as much knowledge as possible.

Hi Evo. So pleased to hear you arfer on your way with all of this. I would assume you will just need one appointment a week, untill egg collection and ttransfer, when there is more going on as you will realise. Well done with your weight loss so far. I had to lose loads some years back now, but eventually managed it. I am certain that you are doing everything that you can to lose weight, but whatever you are doing, whether at a slimming club or on your own, make sure that you are keeping a record of your losses, however small, so that you can prove you are trying. A practice nurse at your GP practice would weigh you and keep a record too, if you don’t want to join a slimming club. Swimming, if possible, is good too. If you can afford to attend one of these fitness centres, then speak to one of the advisors. He/she will be able to help you with your diet requirements and also the correct exercising that you require. Thinking of you and good luck! Diane
