My husband had a PESA to remove sperm yesterday but they didn’t find any. The surgeon had been 80% sure it was an obstruction but is now considering Non-obstructive is more likely, possibly maturation arrest when the sperm don’t develop past a certain stage. He’s recommended a TESE which only has a 50% chance of success. We are understandable devastated. Has anyone had any experience of this?
