I'm totally going crazy... Started 0.5ml of Buserlin for down reg on day 21 and I am booked in for my baseline scan on the 16th so that will be 3 weeks of the devil's juice by then.... I have 3 days to do before the scan and the fear that they will tell me it didn't work and I'll have to do it for longer is brutal. I have all the flushes, head aches, tiredness etc... (What an eye opener to menopause this is!)
Just wondering has anyone any advice if they have done something similar and what I could be hearing on Friday... I would naturally ovulate on Fri so is it a case they could start stims or down reg for longer or cancel all together.... Anyone any experience?

I can't offer specific advice for this as I have only done it once and everything in my body behaved, which was a shock to us all 😂 Have you had a bleed yet? I think that is a big determining factor. I'm due to start buserelin for my second round tomorrow and only ovulated yesterday! The clinic said it is OK but I may have a late bleed and would then need to be on it a bit longer, so if I have not bled a couple of days before the scan to call them and let them know. Good luck! xx
Lol the devil's juice, it so is. I'm dreading menopause!I was on buserilin for 3 weeks, bloody hated it, had a bleed during that time which is normal. Had a baseline scan shortly after it stopped, they found two cysts and took blood from them to see if they were emitting hormones. Luckily they weren't (they were last months follicles which were still hanging around, bit annoying as my follicle count was lower that month). I also has to wait for my period to completely stop as my lining was a little thick. Once it was thin enough a couple of days later I started stims.
