Happiest day..16 week gender scan..🎀🙏🏼

Since we started this IVF journey in November 2020 this Saturday might just have been the happiest day so far. It all felt so surreal up until now. Until the day before yesterday, when we had our 16 week gender scan. And finally it feels somewhat real, I know there’s still a long way to go. But I feel a tiny bit little less scared now and excitement is creeping in. Everything looks normal so far and whoever thought we might be having a boy our baby girl proved everyone wrong and made us the happiest. As we drove back home from the scan I was thinking to myself what have I done to deserve this happiness! I’m praying so hard that she keeps on growing strong and we get to meet her soon. I wish this post gives you hope if you’re trying to conceive or in the 2ww or even in the earlier weeks. Please do keep our baby in your prayers.

Congratulations! I had my gender scan last Thursday and also a little GIRL 💕 I like you got quite emotional on the drive home, literally sobbing tears of happiness. I wasn’t like that after any of my previous scans! I think because we can now form more of a connection knowing the gender and no longer having to refer to them as ‘it’! It’s feeling much more real now.

I’m 18weeks+ 3days but we know the gender since I was 14 weeks because we had NIPT test.

We having a girl too ...another one 🥰🎀

Congratulations!! Lovely news!! I cannot wait for our scan next Wednesday- another 8 days to wait! I just feel so nervous in the week leading up to scans - normally so calm, but just feel so nervous! This made me feel a bit better!

Congrats! That’s so exciting! Was she a FET and was it your first transfer? I had my first FET on March 7th and just found out it didn’t take.
