Round 3! Long protocol advice

So I’m about to start round 3... I am now on the long protocol, my last 2 cycles have been on the short. Is the long protocol much different? I am waiting for my next period which is due in around a week and then I start Buserelin on day 21. Whats the difference with this round? Is it just more injections?

I’ve been told the side effects are worse so I’m not looking forward to that however I feel a lot more confident about this round. I’ve lost a stone putting my BMI into the “healthy” category. I’ve been religious with all my vitamins. I feel I have a much better PMA! Hopefully this round is THE round!

I have only done the long protocol (once) but barely had any side effects from the downregulation or stims. The odd night sweat and some palpitations (which I get anyway, just a bit more during downreg) and that was it. I found the progesterone waaay worse! Best of luck on your round xx
