Hi ladies hope your all keeping well & safe in these uncertain times .

Any fellow ladies on stand still , trying to get abroad for treatment? We are delayed again due to isolation rules in Greece . Desperate to start our DE journey !we need to get out there twice with a few to us getting a transfer this year 😞

Feeling very sad with the constant delay. Maybe have to consider uk clinic although my heart is set with the clinic in Greece.

Xx

Me too! I’m hoping to be able to get to Spain for a DE transfer. I’m hopeful it will be soonish! My clinic is linked to the clinic I have used in the UK so they have said I can have initial tests etc here so hopefully only have to go once. I am a teacher so can only go at certain times. I’m going wait til the end of the month and see if travel at Easter may be possible. It has been such a stressful time. I’ve had 4 rounds in the UK with no success. I’m 44 now so chances with using my own eggs are very small. I just want to get on with it as if can use DE don’t want to be too old.! I so understand how you are feeling. I am wishing you luck 8n getting to Greece ASAP and for a BFP!

Hi ... thanks for engaging! It’s so upsetting isn’t it as if Covid isn’t working it’s Webb on every day life add trying to get pregnant abroad to the mix 😖We are kind of excepting a 10 day trip to provide partners sample , have bloods & scans done . Also really want to meet with our Greek clinic so they can get to know us a little before the find our donor..

Then we can kick back & relax until later in the year for fingers crossed 🤞🏼 Our transfer..

Keep me posted & sending you love & strength 🙏🏽

Me! I'm trying to get to Spain for DE FET. Waiting for Spain to lift their ban on UK arrivals on 16th Feb. Just in time for Scottish hotel quarantine to come in to force for my return. This is just yet another hurdle we could really do without. I've been to Spain myself for FET and being there myself is not great but I coped. Now I don't think I could cope in my 2ww stuck in a hotel room myself the whole time 😪Lots of luck getting to Greece. It's so frustrating!

Hi thanks for sharing, you have been through it bless you . The anxiety of travelling along with isolating covid tests and then more isolating has really been to much for us .. we were meant to go in December to provide sample etc, constant setbacks due to Covid.

Last night we talked for hours & we are going to try to navigate our way with a uk clinic as plan b is now needed .

We have a phone appointment tomorrow.

Wishing you luck & strength! Keep me posted xx

Me too, in the other way around. I think it is very hard to travel to aboard for ivf during Covid. At the beginning of last year, we were supposed to move to UK from France for job and also can start my PGS cycle in UK (PGS is not allowed in France). Unfortunately it has been delayed so we decided to go for lucky draws and did one cycle in France. Obviously, we had no luck there, 2 FETs are Negative. Even I still have untested blastocysts in France but we had to come to UK for the job so I did one PGS cycle in UK last November. I think travel for ivf is almost impossible these days. I consulted some embryos transporters. You may consider to find a local clinic and transfer your embryos for transfer. My clinic in London can accept my embryos in France for PGS and transfer but the clinic in France doesn’t allow the embryos to be transferred outside of France. So you have to ask both clinics. At the end, we have embryos in both countries.
