Cyclogest- Itchy Rash

I am currently taking 400mg Cyclogest Pessaries twice a day and am currently 3dp5dt and I am developing an extremely itchy rash all over my torso. I have contacted my clinic but as it is the weekend don’t expect to hear back from them until Monday and wondered if anyone else had also had a similar side affect whilst taking Cyclogest?

I didn’t get a rash but I got a vaginal infection as I was inserting 3 a day. The doc switched me to progesterone injections. Hope you find a solution for your rash soon!

I didnt get a rash nor have I heard of one. How bad is your rash? Does your clinic not have an out of hours number? If not maybe contact out of hours GP or 111. I would try and get advice today as a rash doesn't sound good. Wishing you all the luck. Xxx

Hi , I was reading the other day the side effects because I take 3 per day , anyway it did say if you developed a rash to consult your doctor, maybe worth just phoning them to see , xxxx

Thanks all for your comments. I spoke to my clinic yesterday. They weren’t concerned in the slightest and just told me to go to a pharmacist and get antihistamines that are suitable to take in pregnancy! They don’t want me to stop taking it and just told me to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t get worse! 🤷‍♀️
