Clomid and people other/next steps after that?

Hi.

We have been TTC for 3 years, had 2 miscarriages, last one was Jan 2020. We’ve had investigations and we’ve unexplained infertility. I’m currently on clomid and it doesn’t seem to be working. I’m on 50mg and the private clinic I’m using say we don’t need to increase the mg as my levels/scan are correct and show I’m ovulating etc.

What has been other people next steps after clomid? We have a hospital appointment coming up soon and would like to be armed with info on other options. We are thinking because of our age (late 30’s) it’s likely IVF but wondered what other options there might be as I know from the posts it can be very stressful. Thanks 😀

I think Ivf is the next step after Clomid, especially if you ovulate and also given your age xxx

Hiya, we had 3 rounds of clomid and then 3 rounds of Letrozole and then we had to move onto IVF.. I’m not sure what else they could offer you tbh. Good luck with everything xx

Hey, I did 6 rounds of clomid. I ovulated but didn’t get pregnant so we moved on to IVF after that. Clomid doesn’t have huge success rates compared to IVF, personally I wish we hadn’t done so many rounds and moved to IVF quicker. My friend did get pregnant and had her baby from it though.
