Ivf referral time frame an process?

Just finished my last cycle of clomid, i have my appointment with the gyno next week when we last spoke on the phone they said if it didnt work i would be going for ivf, so im unsure on what to expected next week just wondering how long it will take an what will happen i feel like each month is another wasted. So sorry to hear clomid hasn’t worked for you. I’m just about to start clomid tomorrow and if it doesn’t work will be in the same position as you. I’ve already been told by my consultant the list for ivf in my area is years long 😣 but I think it literally just depends where you live so hopefully yours isn’t like this. Feel exactly the same as you it’s taken me 3 years to get clomid, just feel like time is flying by and I’m not getting any younger. Sending you loads of love. Xx

Good luck!! I had 4 rounds in aug 2019 and did fall pregnant but ended up having a ruptured ectopic an lot my left tube, so i had to wait 6 months then was given another 3 rounds which is what i have just finished. Oh no that long what area are you in if you dont mind me asking. I took mine at night so i slept through the side efforts but they weren't that bad, i also used ovulation kits as it did vary xx

Thanks for the advice I did read that online so I think I might do that so I don’t feel the effects. Did the ovulation kits work for you?

Think its hit an miss it did give me peaks i only used cheap ones from amazon but i have pcos an have red they dont work but makes me feel better.

Im in doncaster but think i would have to go Sheffield i have my appointment next week so will hopefully find out more i looked on the chart people have shared an i should be allowed two free round (fingers crossed) its nice talking to someone about it tho i hate speaking to family an friends about it becuase it always sounds like the same negative story 😂 xx

I have pcos too and my gynaecologist said they won’t work because of it but on the months when I had signs of ovulation it showed I was ovulating and on months when I haven’t it’s showed I’ve not so I don’t know? Defo makes me feel better too so think I’ll carry on.

Aww I’m so pleased you get two! I only get one where I am. Got everything crossed for you.

I feel exactly the same. I’m 28 and all my friends are having children and my sisters so it’s really hard and isolating.

When I have tried to talk to them about it I feel like they don’t get it. So it’s really nice to speak to someone else going through it too.

Seems unfair some areas get 1 then other get 2-3 they should all be 3 🤣

I no two people that have had ivf an both were super lucky first time round so im wishing we get a sticky egg!

Im 27 in june, all over facebook everyone seems to be getting pregnant an alot of people i know had got pregnant by accident and are calm about it like dont worry it will happen we only did it once an it happened 🙄
