Insomnia in 2ww. Is there any hope? Any success story?😔

Hi. I feel very exhausted, just don’t know what to think. Im 10dp3dt and have headaches and sweating a lot! Im on pessaries - progesterone and injections 3x/weekly. The worst experience in this cycle is that I wake up at 4am...5am...just cant sleep. That happened in previous cycle as well, so I really struggle to have any positive feelings. I desperately need some hope. My test date is Saturday... Does anybody feel something similar? Thank you soo much.❤️

I’m sorry to hear hun, the 2ww is quite stressful so it’s understandable to have lack of sleep.... on top of meds side effects! Try to relax 💐❤️Watch tv, read a book... do some meditation... each day you’re closer to test day! 😃😃😃🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻Good luck! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I know re the comparison hun, I’ve been there...but you know it’s impossible to understand if it has worked or not based on symptoms, they are literally THE SAME whether it worked or not! 😂oooh the joys of IVF 😂😂😂also our mind is so good in playing tricks on us....all we can do is breathe and relax ❤️It’s a loooooong journey that’s teaching me so much about patience 😱🙈😂ps:of course you’re not alone! There’s plenty of us IVF sisters, we all freak out together! 🥳😂xxx

Thank you dear Debrakey! Yes, the end is close...but I guess it is even harder to be patient with time. I find my symptoms lil bit strange...just headache and sweating...dont know what to think...?? hoping for a miracle. Thanks so much for your kind words. 🙏❤️

I’m sorry for your insomnia, really doesn’t help in the tww does it 💚 I always find the second half of tww even harder. I can’t sleep when I’m worried about things either, sometimes I actually turn the light on and read or watch something on tv as a distraction and then can go back to sleep. You’re nearly there! 💪 🍀 💫 xx

Also have had insomnia since day 9 (currently on day 12) It’s so annoying because I was sleeping so much the previous week. I read that some women do experience this in their early pregnancy. Hang in there! Saturday is just around the corner!! Sending you lots of good vibes 💓

I am sorry for your insomnia! I am on day 9 after transfer and got a positive test.

At night I feel that I wake up many times.. No clue if this is related to pregnancy..

I wish you best of luck with your test 🤞

These are all side effects listed in the progesterone packaging, including the insomnia (insomnia is listed for Lubion but not Cyclogest). I can't tell you whether they are good or bad signs, but they certainly suggest the progesterone is in your system if that is any comfort :) I am finding the progesterone makes me quite hot at night - not as bad as buserelin but more than I would be without the meds - and I am also waking up early, though I am not the greatest sleeper to begin with! xx

Thanks! Yes, this could be progesterone...I spoke with one of my friends...she experienced similar feelings in 2ww. Nothing left for us than to hope for the best. Sending you baby dust and best wishes🍀❣️
