Hello, has anyone tried self insemination at home and had any success rate. Any tips are welcome. We have been trying it since last 11 months, but no luck yet. Waiting for NHS ivf is too much and covid is slowing down it more. Don't want to waste more time and that's why we are trying self insemination at home every month. Thank you.

Self insemination
Hi I dont have a success story, but I really hope I will have one soon. We are trying home insemination from March as also feel like are wasting our time. How is it going for you. Really hard to find online a good size syringe. I dont like those very thin ones as am scared of scratching myself down there. Need something thick and blunt.
I did and it worked on the 3rd try. I used "Mosie kit" it was super comfortable to use. After TTC for over a year we were both so sick of scheduled sex that this was our only option to get things done during ovulation lol. I want to add that in order for this to work you have to be fairly certain that there are no other known fertility issues like blocked tubes or male sperm factor, or issues with uterus. I did IVF and IUIs prior to this, so we had all tests done. Our issue was my age (41) and extremely low AMH - so I was only getting one egg a month with or without IVF. Doctor advised trying naturally since nothing else was wrong with me and he said it just maybe a matter of time and luck hitting a good egg. My chances were less than 1 % but I'm 13 weeks now. I would suggest you get some basic tests done just to be sure there isn't some treatable problem preventing you from getting pregnant. Good luck!
That's a great news!!. Best luck to you. We have had all my tests done and everything is normal. finally now we are going for IVF.
