Emotional during the TWW

Hi everyone, I’m currently 5dp5dt and today I have been really emotional and crying for no reason. I’m feeling really down but I don’t really know why. It’s not that I’m feeling negative about the transfer or anything like that. Just wondering if this is normal? This is my first IVF cycle and until today I have been feeling good. Anyone else had this before?

Hey, sorry to hear you are so emotional - I think it’s really normal and a combination of the drugs, hormones and lack of control. I am sure there will be people on here who have had this and then gone onto have a BFP but the one thing I have learnt from going through ivf a few times now is that you can’t read into anything as it’s different every day. Be kind to yourself and sending you loads of luck xx

Thanks for your kind words, Daisy! I think it’s also Covid and not being able to see anyone. Don’t worry I had some chocolate today, so definitely being kind to myself! Xx

Yeah Covid definitely makes it a lot harder to take your mind off things and makes you feel a lot lonelier. It also makes everything so laser focused on TTC as all the ‘normal’ things you do you can’t do anymore. Great you have chocolate.. that’s a start! xx
