Hi all, I posted yesterday about this but now I've had a further day of faint lines! I should add that the lines are slightly darker in person and are definitely pink. However they just don't seem to be getting any darker! I'm really worried now. Has this happened to anyone else? What was the outcome? X

I've never tested that early so I'm not sure, but if the line is as faint as that on OTD then you would need to go to your clinic for a blood test and another a couple of days later so that they could check if your HCG levels were rising correctly xx
I hate to say it but there is no way you will get a definitive answer to this until official test day. As a serial early but then kick myself tester I have had BFPs but also false positives and also chemicals. It depends on so much. For example what did you transfer? Was it high quality hatching blasto or slow developing morula? It could be a late implanter and it could be a chemical pregnancy. HCG doubles every 48-72 hours so you wouldn’t expect great differences ever day. As LCharlton says you need to wait to OTD and maybe have bloods - but lots of clinics don’t do bloods!
I’m sorry it’s such a nightmare but welcome to the horrible uncertain world of IVF! I know it’s hard but I would put your tests away and wait until OtD as stress won’t help either! Good luck xx
Thanks for your reply I transferred a 4AA blastocyst that the embryologist said was just starting to hatch. I'm going to call my clinic tomorrow morning and ask if they can get me in for bloods. At least then I'll know! X
Testing early will mean that HCG will be really low, especially with these tests so doubling will also mean another low number, it’s just a matter of waiting it out or getting your hcg tested otherwise it’s really hard to predict what will happen. I’m 10 weeks pregnant now and while testing with these a few of the days it was hard to see a definite line progression and my baby is growing fine. Good luck and hope your pregnancy progresses xxxx
Oh how much a hate line progression! I had 3 chemicals in the past and believe me it is nerve racking. I wish I had a better opinion about your tests but considering my history these are not looking the way we wanted. It is looking more of a chemical so far but I would suggest you to try a different brand so you could compare. I hope it will turn differently, into a more positive way. All the best and 🤞❤️
