Faint line

I’m day 9 post frozen embryo transfer. I couldn’t help myself and have tested since day 6. Each test has shown a very faint line. Has anyone any experience of it staying faint? Am I just being impatient and it will go darker over the coming days or is it something else?

hi, I had this on my first fresh transfer and in my case it did end in a chemical I’m sorry to say. It could me you’re testing out the trigger still and natural hcg is still growing! Fingers crossed x

Thanks for your reply. Sorry to hear that for you. This one was frozen transfer. There’s still a faint line this morning but I’ve more cramps and just feel it’s nearly over.

It Is still early and I’ve seen stories from others where they didn’t get their dark lines until 11/12 dpt but it’s hard to keep hoping. I’m in the same position as you currently, 6dp5dt and getting up and down faint lines.

The other side of me keeps saying it is early and I’m praying for a darker line over the next few days.. OTD is tomorrow. I hope your line gets darker over the next few days too 🙏

Just tested again 5.5dp5dt (I transferred at like 2.30pm so clinging onto anything 😂). And pretty much stark white so suspect I was seeing trigger still or the start of implantation that’s now failed. Back to the drawing board I think for me!

Thanks so much, it’s a tough old journey! I was so hopeful because I had OHSS this time so I had to freeze embryos and wait a cycle so knew it wouldn’t be meds and trigger shot showing positive! I feel it is a chemical but let’s see.

It really is! Is this your first transfer? Definitely nicer when there’s no trigger but in the mix but it’s still hard to get through the days so sending lots of love!

Thanks, trying to be realistic but hoping it’s a late implanter, still early (ish!) but would expect lines by now. We have 2 others, but financially not sure if we can do anymore. We’ve spent over £20k on everything as not eligible for nhs funding and mentally I just don’t know if we can keep putting ourselves through this. How about you?

It’s our 2nd. We only got 1 embryo on our first cycle so transferred and failed… this cycle we got 6 embryos so at least we’ve got some on ice. We get married next summer so this was supposed to be the baby before the wedding so everything will be on hold if it’s not worked.

Thanks so much. I really hope it is for you. It is still early so really hoping for you that line appears and gets darker!! Yes, we’re private too.. mentally, physically and financially it’s like nothing else.

Congrats to you as well! Yes last round, money wise we need to concentrate on the wedding and tbh, mentally I’m struggling to get excited because the brain is just focused on fertility stuff. How about you? Do you think you might try another round if this one doesn’t work out? Hopefully you won’t need one ❤️

Thankyou! I’m fully in the same boat as you! Yes, we’re exactly the same. It becomes relentless and takes over your life. If this one doesn’t work out, it’ll be post wedding 100%. I’ve got constant cramps so feel a bleed is close. Keep me updated on how you get on!
