BBT chart - what’s normal?

Hey,

Dr Google is driving me insane and I am finding my GP a bit of a nightmare 😭

Attached a picture of this months BBT - is this “normal”?

That looks normal to me! The fluctuation is only degrees of a degree xx

It looks pretty normal but one way you can tighten it up, depending on how you are taking your temp, is to measure temp more than once each day. Oral thermometers aren't terribly consistent! I do mine 3 times consecutively and take the max temp (I considered taking an average but I figured a lower temp is more likely due to technique than the precision of the thermometer). I also try to be consistent with how I put it in my mouth - I find having it under my tongue and pressing down slightly yields the highest temp. It has definitely made a difference to the consistency of my charts! xx

Also, I think everyone is a little different when it comes to charts so doing it over several months you should get an idea what is normal for you. I use fertility friend and look at other people's charts, and it is amazing the variation, even in pregnant cycles. xx
