Frequent bowel movements

Hello everyone , has anyone had to poop more while taking progesterone .. i am on tablets and suppositories and i noticed im using the toilette more often .. in my first failed ivf i had constipation a lot but now im pooping more .. inknow this one failed because i can feel period coming and soft poop before is a classic sign for me that AF is about to come but i was wondering if it might also be a progesterone side effect

I know people say that progesterone has the opposite effect but I’ve really struggled with it since I started and have had a funny tummy pretty much the whole time - the oestrogen makes me sick and the progesterone sends me to the toilet! Fun times 😂 I don’t think my FET has worked either as stupidly tested early and days 6 and 7 and BFN so holding out til OTD on Friday when I anticipate I’ll be stopping both x

Im in the same boat tested 9dpt bfn .. it’s really weird right ? Im thinking my progesterone levels are not high since i read a lot that high levels cause constipation and honestly i dont feel dizzy , tired ... no side effects just sore boobs which was before transfer and mood swings .. actually lack of symptoms and this frequent pooping made me extra sure my transfer failed

Progesterone always makes me like this, and I have had successful and failed rounds with the same symptoms. I know you are desperately looking for signs its failed or worked but I am afraid there is nothing conclusive - you literally just need to sit it out for OTD. All the things you have described can just as much be a positive sign as a negative sign. For example once when I got pregnant I knew I was because I DIDNT have any symptoms and normally I do! Really?? My first round i had to strain to poop now soft and twice per day ... im taking probiotics though i think they are also a cause since i have intestinal problems and i started probiotics 2months ago

Just to add to the joy of multiple injections / blood tests / probes / scans etc.... xx
