Testosterone gel

Evening all, just wondering if anyone has used Testosterone gel and if it made a difference in subsequent cycles ? Many thanks x

Hi,

On my first round without, I got 3 eggs, 1 started fertilisation but that fizzled out after a couple of days. So all very poor. Total fail

On my 2nd round, this time with icsi and testosterone, still only 3 but 2 fertilised to 5 day blasts. They were looking good at day 3 but they ended up being graded poor by day 5 and the double transfer resulted in bfn but the quality had definitely improved from the previous attempt. There was hope.

I was also taking all the Rebecca fett suggested supps too that time (ubiquinol, dhea, etc etc) so who knows if it was that, the testosterone or a combination.

I have used it.. I had more eggs this time but dr thinks that cycles are just different. I will know on Tuesday if it affects the quality My specialist believes there are evidence of its effectiveness. You won’t use it more than 3 weeks I think

Thanks for sharing Fay. I’ve read a couple of studies which show there is a positive effect and was interested to know of anyone had personal experience. That’s great you have more eggs this cycle - I hope all goes will for you on Tuesday x

Thanks. I don’t have much hope as this is 3rd cycle .. last cycle I had 3 blastocyst but they didn’t have enough cells for testing... I hate the injections so I don’t think I do another one. I think is good thing to try the gel. You won’t get facial hair as the gel is only for 3 weeks. So give it a shot xx

There’s always some hope, I sincerely have everything crossed for you. My next one will be my 4th cycle so would like to try everything possible and certainly will try the gel, my Dr is ok with it. That’s good to know re:facial hair I was wondering about side effects 🙈x

That’s the one good think about the masks these days, I’ve saved a fortune on waxing 😂x
