Lining low on transfer day!!

Has anybody else had a less than favourable lining on transfer day (frozen transfer of 1 day 5 embryo!)

I had a bit of bleeding after my post-stimulation scan (which id never experienced before at any other scan). I rang the clinic and they said not to worry as it was not fresh red, so must be old. They said only call back if it was fresh red or really heavy. It was more than spotting but not like a period at all, so we went along for transfer today!

I told the doc though so she said they'd do a scan of the lining first and check. It was a bit low. It had been 9.1mm at the post-stim scan but was measuring more like 7, or even 6 today. She said overall it was 7 ish, but looked good and healthy with the striation layers they needed. BUT 6 or 7 really was the minimum so it was not at all optimal. She said if this was the last frozen embryo she wouldn't recommend going ahead as it could affect it! However as we have 6 others frozen it was my choice. It was a bit risky but could still support a pregnancy! I thought if there is a chance it will work then we should still try!!!

I know she wouldn't have gone ahead if it was doomed for failure... but just wondering if anyone else has had any experience of this? Did you go ahead / cancel the transfer?

Hi lovely, I’ve heard a lot of ladies on here struggle to get to 8mm for transfer and some go ahead anyway. Wishing you lots of luck xx
