Has anyone had the Th1/ Th2 Cytokine Blood Test? Did you have it before ET, post or following a positive test? Also, if you did, did it highlight anything and if so, what was the treatment?

Th1/ Th2 Cytokine Blood Test
Hi, yes, I had mine done because of recurrent implantation failure, alongside NK cells blood test. Cytokine ratio was elevated and the treatment was 2 injections of Humeria (one then the second two weeks later). I need to have bloods redone 2 weeks after second injection. I’ve been told that if cytokines have reduced into normal range then I should have sufficient coverage from the treatment for around 6 months and can start my next FET. If it hasn’t (which is less than 5% of people) then they usually suggest a second round of two Humeria injections before moving onto other possible immuno drugs.
It is a very expensive process. The blood tests were £360 each time and the 2 injections of Humeria £1000 (although I’ve spoken to others who have managed to get it cheaper).
Yeah the ranges come alongside the results. I had it done at the clinic I emailed you about. The tests also come with a 15min consultant follow up, so the consultant went through it with me (even though they aren’t the clinic I’m having my transfers with, it’s out in Spain).
They also do ERA (I saw you asked about that on other post).
Yes, I'm doing as much digging, research and test booking as I can, after 3 miscarriages in under 12 months. Trying to narrow things down I suppose.
Thank you for the info
😀
Really sorry to hear about your losses. It’s horrible.
I had one miscarriage with first transfer then recurrent implantation failure ever since
There is an excellent recurrent miscarriage clinic run by one of the leading experts. I’ll DM you.
Hello, would you also mind messaging me the clinic too? I have also had miscarriage and many, many failed cycles. I just did my NK test - can I ask what your TH1 and TH2 levels were, just as a benchmark? Thanks so much xx
...and can I also ask what clinic you are with? Thanks so much xx
