I did.. the first few days I just rested really and caught up on a good box set and went for nice walks. The last week was really mentally tough.. I only took the leave because my job is pretty full on and intense right now and I didn’t want the stress to overwhelm me. But I’m having a FET beginning January, and I don’t think I’ll take the full two weeks again. Just two days following transfer so that I can keep my mind busy! Xx

Hiya, I’ve taken a week plus twoDays as I had my transfer on Thursday. Even though I’m working from home, I didn’t want to risk any stress x

Ooo yes Gurl- my insurance didn’t cover IVF and this is our second cycle, my job gave me 2 extra weeks off, it’s been magic minus the intermittent crazy 😂 I 💜 naps and Netflix

I’ve been off the whole time since egg collection! Some people like to work to distract them but I knew I’d be far too stressed to work x

I had my transfer overseas in Prague (live in Ireland) so had to self isolate for 2wks on my return.(stupid covid) but am almost glad of it to be honest as my job is really stressful and I know I would have had to work crazy hrs this mt... Its day 10 today!!! Blood test booked for tue and am back work thur.. But am so tempted to test at home as would prefer bf to be with me be it good or bad results... Its 6.30am am lying here wide awake stomach turning at taught of testing and he's snoring his wee heart out.. Haven't the heart to wake him!! Tick tock!!

We have had to isolate since day 9 scan until embryo transfer, so I had this time off work. I therefore could not take too much leave at the end 😇 Our transfer was yesterday, but I am not back to work until Thursday. At least I get the first 4 days to just do what I want 🥰 It is my first IVF cycle, so all new to me. I was glad for the time off after EC, as I felt I needed it then. I am feeling fine this morning. My clinic have said I can do normal daily activities, but no vigorous/strenuous activity. So no exercise, but I plan to do some light walking. I plan on skipping cleaning for the two weeks though 😁🤪

I will take it easy when I am back at work though, and avoid stress 😇🥰

Some work places have policies re time off (carers leave/compassionate leave etc) and IVF treatment might be one of them, so might be worth looking into.

Hope you find your balance and can take what you need 🥰

I haven’t yet taken the plunge to tell my work. I work within a school and feel nervous about asking for time off. I’m currently awaiting transfer. Once the transfer has happened my clinic have signed me off sick as my job is heavy lifting etc. They thought this was one of the reasons it may have not worked previous. But we’ll try anything. I don’t mind being at home resting. Some chill time after all the rush of the cycle. 😊

Yes I took the 2 ww off work and just relaxed ,my manager was fine , I got a sick note from the gp XXX
