Day 14 of Buserelin for frozen transfer and still no bleed

Hi all I’m on buserelin 50iu a day and was told I must bleed on this, normally around a week into the jabs. I am now on day 14 and still no period. I have twinges all the time but that has been since the second day and put that down to the meds.

I am really worried that my cycle will be cancelled and the clinic, as normal, have not got back to me. Transfer is due Xmas week

Has anyone else been on this for frozen transfer and did you bleed soon after starting or have any problems?

Hi, I was on buserelin too and didn’t bleed until day 18. Hang in there and hopefully yours comes soon and things move smoothly from then with your lining thickening in readiness for the transfer. Your planned dates may be pushed out by a few days but the clinic can work things out since it’s a medicated cycle.

Try not to worry, clinics are used to this sort of thing happening. With medicated cycles they can easily move things around by a week or two. In one of my cycles my lining just wasn’t thickening. I was also due in Xmas week. Nothing got cancelled. Dates just moved around. I ended up having a transfer the first few days of Feb. I had reached an acceptable lining thickness a bit sooner but I had a holiday booked so we worked around that. That’s the beauty of medicated cycles.
