I know many many who have. I’m still on the journey so can’t say I have been successful yet. But don’t worry about it so much. It can be easily handled by the right doctor.

I would rather focus on just improving the quality of the eggs. Don’t worry about the number as much. Have faith in your body! ❤️

Thank you. I feel rejected and useless as most doctors I have met yet are not encouraging like I am a lost case to them! Honestly, I have faith in my body but no one shares this with me. Thank you once again

How many follicles did your scan show?

6 follicles. 2 and 4 on the sides. The last ivf we got 6eggs only 1 made it.

6 is not bad at all. I had only 2 when I started. The reason why only 1 made it is not due to AMH but the quality. I highly suggest that you focus on improving the quality of the eggs which takes 3 months. There are simple steps to take - Home food only, warm food, try to include superfoods like Maca, nuts etc. Lots of omega3 in supplements or directly from fish. I also added ghee to my diet which helps!

Overall, reduce stress. Stress shuts ur body down. It affects the hormones that promotes the quality and quantity of AMH. Just disconnect urself from negative stories or thoughts about pregnancy. Don’t read about AMH at all. Just think of good stuff to eat, yoga, gentle walks in nature, good movies etc. See things will change. I can assure u! Happened with me, and I was wreck. So u can def do so much better.

Regarding the docs, I had the same experience - one of them said start thinking of donors. I was devastated. But it’s all BS. You will have urs! Start thinking of yourself like a warrior who is on a Mission to prove all of them wrong. Change ur mindset. It will help.

Message me separately if you want to talk on phone. I have been through the same journey. Still fighting, but I’m so much more positive than I use to be!

I don’t have experience of low AMH, but just wanted to say keep faith. A friend of mine has and she has just welcomed her little girl to the world. As Baggit has said try and work on your egg quality.

I had 21 eggs removed on my last cycle, I only ended up with two. First one didn’t take and the second one I sadly just miscarried. So I am now on the journey to improve my eggs before I start again.

Easier said than done I know but try to stay positive and push your doctors to manage it properly xx

So sorry about the miscarriage. It is such a awful thing. I wish you luck in your next cycle. I am also improving my eggs too. Trying to have a healthy diet etc with lots of useful vitamins... fingers crossed.. will go again!! Thank you.

I have, mine was four, and I was also warned off having IVF by the drs, or at least seriously think about how many times I want to put myself through it. I also had a follicule count of 3. I am 37 and the drs said it was incredibly low even for my age.I am currently 7 days post embryo transfer ☺️. I know I’m not there yet, but there is always hope. I also went to an acupuncture centre for ivf specialist acupuncture, and had to drink this god awful tea daily. I basically did everything I possibly could.

I had 2 eggs develop fully and fertilise.

It’s such a tough journey, with many highs and lows, I wish you every luck and happiness 😘 x x x

Urgh! I wish doctors wouldn't be so negative with people like us with low AMH, mine was 2.5 at 36, I was lucky and my doctor never once mentioned it wasnt possible or donor eggs. I had first round of ivf in juneand got 6 mature eggs ..didnt work but whilst waiting for frozen transfer got a natural bfp a couple of months later..there's always hope ! I was also surprised they dont state about improving egg quality with supplements when there is so much positive research out there.

Wishing you all the luck lovely sending lots of sticky vibes your way! Xxxx

Ha ha thank you 😂 I’ve never wanted to be more sticky then right now!! It’s even worth the grimness of the progesterone pessarys!

Joking aside I am incredibly lucky, and appreciative to be where I am right now. Sleep or no sleep, anxiety, dripping pessarys, and crazy hormones aside, I would do it everyday for the rest of my life if it meant a healthy happy baby x x x

Hi lovely my AMH was 2.5 last year when I was 36 which is ridiculously low. Had first go of ivf in June at age 37. I was on max meriofert for 14 days..got 6 mature eggs, 3 made it to end. Sadly fresh trans didnt stick but went on loads of egg quality supplements and got a natural bfp a couple of months later for the first time in over a year ! ( praying everything works ok with this one! 🤞) If you're not taking supplements I highly recommend you start :-) wishing you lots of luck lovely xxx

Low can be just a little low or close to zero, and those are different situations. Age and FSH are better markers of IVF success, but even better is to know your response with stims and results in an IVF cycle. But the numbers only give you chances, it’s a personal decision to take it or not. I think in general younger than 40 with low but reasonable exames should try at least one cycle!
